The South Carolina Digital Infrastructure Alliance is an independent, pro-growth, pro-community initiative focused on responsible digital infrastructure development. We believe South Carolina can benefit from AI infrastructure, data centers, fiber networks, subsea cables, and grid modernization when growth is planned transparently and local communities share in the benefits.

The Alliance exists to convert a fast-moving, opaque industry into transparent, community-enriching infrastructure. We track projects, monitor legislation, brief communities, and connect local businesses to opportunity — before projects arrive, not after.
We are not anti-data center. We are pro-responsible-growth: growth that protects communities, creates local business opportunity, improves transparency, and helps lawmakers make informed decisions.
- Maintain the SC Data Center Tracker across all 46 counties
- Operate the Horry County Intelligence Center and county deep-dives
- Track legislation affecting energy, water, incentives, and cables
- Publish the Responsible Development Framework and checklists
- Run the Business Opportunity Network and directory
- Provide briefings to councils, planners, and community groups
